My little ham

In the last few days it seems like Wessy has just exploded in his interactive-ness.  He is laughing, gumming, squealing and playing like never before.  He is reaching new levels of delightfulness.  I captured these moments of playfulness with him in his crib with Cal; I think one can see a little of the goofy little one he is becoming.  One can also see more than a little of his tongue, which never stays in his mouth for long these days.

He likes to rub the sides of the pack and play because it makes a neat sound

I can't take a picture without him trying to grab the camera

Good little eater

Wessy is an eating machine.  So far our attempts at introducing him to solid food have been haphazard.  At first he only seemed interested in trying small amounts of food and mainly wanted to stick to breast milk, but in the last few days he is newly into EVERYTHING.  I can't sit at the table with him in my lap without him reaching frantically for anything I'm trying to put in MY mouth.

Given this sudden, voracious interest in eating, we need to get a plan together to have him eat WITHY us (and not just sit in the bjorn chewing on his toys while we eat).  I bought a fancy high chair on Ebay, so when it comes, we will give him a place at the table.

So far, there have been no foods he has not embraced.  It is impossible to say that he has "favorites" because mainly he just wants to shove food in his mouth no matter what.  That definitely comes from his mama.  Herein follow some pictures of Wes's eating adventures.  This is his first baby food (spinach potatoes).
